In addition to 210 km of pistes, 70 cable cars & 85 ski huts in the Snow Space Salzburg (Flachau-Wagrain-St. Johann) you also have access to all the slopes of the whole Ski Amadé ski alliance. And all this with a single ski pass. Across the Salzburger Sportwelt, the Gastein, Hochkönig, Schladming-Dachstein and Grossarl Valley resorts await you, with a total of more than 760 km of perfectly groomed slopes.

A perfect day of skiing in Wagrain
After a good night's sleep in one of apartments you will start the day with oven fresh bread from the local bakery which we deliver to your holiday home.This will give you the energy you need for a day on the slopes. Incidentally, we are ski enthusiasts ourselves and will gladly give you tips for a perfect day of skiing in Wagrain-Kleinarl.

The way to the lift should be as easy and comfortable as possible, especially if you are carrying ski equipment. Overnight, you can store your skis at our heated in-house storage room.
In the morning, all you have to do is put on your pre-warmed ski boots, grab your skis and off you go to the ski shuttle, which stops next to the apartments.
Every 10-15 minutes the free of charge shuttle brings you to the different ski stations. The nearest one from us is the "Grafenberg gondola" (500 m away).

For those who don't yet know how to ski, we can recommend the two ski schools in Wagrain, where the necessary techniques are taught in small groups. Ski lessons are available for children 3 years and up, but you can also sign up to start skiing as an adult or improve your skiing technique.

Have you already bought your ski passes? If not, then we now have the ultimate insider tip for you.
From the beginning of October 2022, you will have the opportunity to buy your ski pass at a special price with the new Ski amadé Online Early Booking Bonus. In concrete terms, this means: the earlier you purchase your ski passes online, the higher is your chance of getting a better priced ski pass.
The ski passes can be bought online in the ticket shop of Snow Space Salzburg.
Alternativelly it is also possible to buy them directly at the reception of the Appartements Schattauer.
Wagrainis Winterwelt (winter world)
There's a lot happening at the middle station of the "Rote 8er" gondola lift, which is where you'll find Wagrainis Winterwelt – a real paradise for children, where they can make their first attempts at skiing, take a ride on the magic carpet, try out the tubing track or let off steam at the snowpark for beginners. In particular, you should make a note of two dates during your family ski holiday in Wagrain: on Tuesdays from 11 a.m., Wagrainis Winterwelt hosts a children's party, and on Thursdays from 2 p.m. a barbecue party with campfire.

Absolut Park snowpark
The Shuttleberg resort in Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl is one of the region's freestyle hotspots – and rightly so. With a length of 1.5 km and more than 100 obstacles, it is one of the largest snowparks in the Alps! There is something here for everyone – whether you're a beginner or a professional, you'll find the right run for your level of skill.
A special highlight is the Burton "The Stash" snowpark. Each element has been deliberately kept as minimalist and natural as possible. You'll get to enjoy varied runs across powder jumps, cliffs and many other types of obstacles!
